Beach Bunny Yarns loved the costumes for Elsa’s coronation day. We used this moment for our colorway inspirations.
Starting with Elsa, exuding dignity and self-control, we began with a panels of deep teal and aqua accented with dark plum, just like the embroidery of royal patterns on her skirt. Then touched with a bit of dark magenta drawn from the cape she wears.
This skein of yarn showcases Elsa’s poise, combining royal elegance with textural warmth fit for the Snow Queen herself
"Let it Go" is Elsa's initial break-out moment of discovery which starts her down the path of self-acceptance, and the moment we drew inspiration from for our first colorway. We really wanted to capture the essence of the moment while at the same time, create a colorway to compliment Beach Bunny Yarn's corresponding Elsa colorway "Conceal Don't Feel." "Alone and Free" is a subtly-shifting tonal semi-solid blend of icy blues of Kingdom of Isolation, where she finally feels safe to be herself.
