Conservation Project

In December 2021, Beach Bunny Yarns made another donation to the Marine Science Center of Ponce Inlet totaling over $1200!  They took in a record number of injured turtles this year and continue to save these incredible creatures.  Thank you to those who helped this cause with your purchases of Beach Bunny Yarns.

Great news!  Thanks to your purchases of yarns in 2019, Beach Bunny Yarns made a donation of $310 to the Marine Science Center at Ponce Inlet.  This education and marine rescue center takes in more sea turtles than any other on Florida's east coast.  The incredible staff and volunteers thank you for your support to help protect and preserve Florida's wildlife.

Here is one of the Marine Science Center's patient in recovery.  As rescued turtles recover and get stronger, they're moved to deeper pools to practice swimming.  Once they're fully recovered and eating well, they are released into the wild.
