Island Sport Line of yarn has been dyed in a color-shifting style.  The yarn was knitted into a sock blank and then dyed.  Each sock was individually dyed, so each one is its own dye lot.  Pictures are shown of various stages after dyeing to show how the color changes along the way.  All socks were then wound into ready-to-knit cakes.  Some cakes are shown in reverse from others.  This is merely based on which end was first on the winder.   

While the dye formulas are the same from batch to batch, this particular dyeing style cannot guarantee exact duplicate shades or fade points.  So if you would like multiples of the same colorway, just know that they will not be the same.

These are one-of-a-kind and cannot be duplicated.
